So… I had an at home spa-day yesterday (meaning that I did it all) LOL! And it was both scary and a lot of fun. Nails, pedicure but the scary part? Doing my own eyelashes. Eeeeeep! Eyeballs and chemicals scare me (but BOY DO I LOVE eyelashes!!!!), and I was finally ready to take the plunge:
Three things:
1.) I lifted and tinted my eyelashes this weekend with the Luxe Cosmetics – Lash Lift Kit. I already have my review ready to go for you. It worked, but boyyyyyy did the first few steps require my patience with my stubborn lashes and tiny lids!! I’ll tell you all about that too.
2.) I also tinted my eyelashes with their black eyelash tint but that didn’t work much (yet!!). Just made them a darker blonde sort of brown. LOL!! Though I’ll be re-trying that another day. I think my eyelashes had too much going on when I tried to dye them at the same time.
3.) P.S. For flashier days, have you tried THESE cluster eyelashes yet? They go on the underside of your lashes instead of on top!! LOVING them because they are so easy to put on and take off, pretty much last about 3 days if I’m careful, and I don’t need to add any glue, or magnets or eyeliner to get them to stick. And there’s no band so they are soft and not stiff!!! Perfect for my tiny eyelids, since I can customize the look with the sizes I choose. My only complaint? They are suuuuper delicate since they don’t have a band, so you have to take them out/off of the case very carefully or they’ll stretch and break (or twist up like an elastic band). P.S. There are about 4 or 5 different styles/looks of these “self adhesive” ones in this brand (I have “rabbit” <— a little extra oomph without being too much and “lace” <— super delicate looking barely-there and so nice- next I’m getting “twin“)
