HAPPY MONDAY!!!! IT’S TIME FOR NEW EARLY BIRD BOOK RELEASES!!
It’s a grey, consistently rainy day today and I am loving it. 😊 😍 I’ve put every single one of my plants outside for a good long rain shower, all nice and clean, and what oxygenated rain water does for the roots and rinsing out of minerals from tap water etc is wonderful renewal for them. I hear plants have growth spurts after a good rain, so I can’t wait to see how they respond to their rainy day.
Three things:
1.) I had a wonderful, relaxing, sweet weekend. Tried a mexican restaurant that I loved, went to see “Sinners” (finallllly!!!), my husband found me my perfect Bird of Paradise plant that I’ve been wanting for that perfect spot in my landscaping, and a wonderful Mother’s Day with my in-laws. ❤️
2.) So Sinners… I really enjoyed it and I’m giving it a 4 out of 5. 5 out of 5 for the majority of it, but I was slightly bummed when I realized what ahem “trope/paranormal kind” of movie it was (I won’t tell you because it was a twist I didn’t see coming). My husband knows I don’t usually have a desire to watch that trope, but in the grand scheme of things, it was excellent!!!! GREAT acting, a few laughs along the scary way, and an amazing story… and yes… DO STAY TO THE VERY END after the credits. EXCELLENCE!!
3.) I have all sorts of leftovers in the fridge from the restaurants that I went to this weekend. YAY ME!!! Poblanos rellenos with steak for lunch (OMG ONE OF THE BEST THINGS I’VE EVER EATEN!!), and Fettuccini Positano with grilled chicken breast for supper! Hmm… I wonder what my husband will eat? 😉
