Workspace with computer, journal, books, coffee, and glasses.Welcome back, everyone! It’s the middle of the week, which means now we get to start thinking about Friday. Let’s be honest, though, there are some weeks when I start thinking about Friday on Sunday evening.

I’m already seeing Christmas stuff despite Halloween still being two weeks away. I know there’s the recurring joke that Christmas decor is getting put out earlier and earlier and I think that’s pretty accurate.

This year, I’m pretty meh on the holidays. How are you feeling?

Kiki shared that The Davenports YA series will be adapted. Anyone excited to tune in?

This was sent in my frequent commenter, PamG:

I saw a Big Idea post over on John Scalzi’s Whatever blog that really excited me today. (10/14). The author is Madeleine Robins, and she is releasing a new book in her Sarah Tolerance series, The Doxie’s Penalty. I have all the other books in this series, though it’s mystery rather than romance set in an alt Regency period. I consider these books to be an unsung treasure.

This was sent in by Lisle, who included a gift link. It’s an article on the romance industry from The Atlantic. Nothing we don’t already know, but this is more for those not already inside the house.

If you’re in the New England area, the Boston Book Fest is taking place on 10/25. There is a romance panel planned and Julia Quinn was interviewed in The Boston Globe about her involvement. I believe she’ll be doing a keynote.

Don’t forget to share what cool or interesting things you’ve seen, read, or listened to this week! And if you have anything you think we’d like to post on a future Wednesday Links, send it my way!
