Demi Moore, Pamela Anderson, and More

Memoirs have always been a favorite genre of mine. There’s something about seeing people completely overshare, especially in the areas the bad, the ugly, or the “failures” that makes me feel less insane about my own mess. These books didn’t just entertain me; they also gave me permission to overshare, to own my most cringe qualities, and to actually embrace them. Honestly, if I hadn’t been reading memoirs like these, I don’t think I ever would’ve had the guts to write one myself.

Demi Moore, Inside Out

Demi doesn’t sugarcoat a thing. Addiction, breakdowns, heartbreak… and she spills it all. You expect Hollywood glam, but what you really get is someone clawing their way back to themselves. And the way she writes (and reads on Audible, in that raspy, velvety voice) is both brutal and beautiful.

Julia Fox, Down the Drain

Julia writes like she lives: fast, unapologetic, and a little dangerous. It’s sex, drugs, rock and roll—but at it’s heart its a story about the women who saved her life. Her style is so raw that I devoured it in one sitting and need a sequel ASAP.

Lisa Marie Presley & Riley Keough, From Here to the Great Unknown

This one hits hard. Lisa Marie and Riley’s dual voices weave a haunting, intimate duet about family, grief, and carrying a legacy. It’s layered, emotional, and lingers with you long after you finish it. The writing from both Lisa and Riley is so honest and descriptive you are teleported into their world.

Pamela Anderson, Love, Pamela

Pamela writes like poetry, but without the neat bow on top. She’s tender and romantic but sharp enough to cut right through you. This book made me admire Pam, even more than I already had. it’s a fearless meditation on vulnerability, heartbreak, and daring to be bold to love again no matter the cost.
