Jane needs our book help! HOLY. MOLY. OH HECK NO!!!!!!! This book already has me fuming… and I feel like I MUST read it. I mean… Jane explains things well enough in her question but I still feel this like a punch to my gut!

She asks:

I’m looking for a book I’ve read but can’t find. I’ve looked everywhere.

What I remember about the book is The female and male main characters (FMC and MMC) are in love, but the MMC doesn’t show it outwardly, instead focusing on protecting the FMC’s sister.

The mafia angle: The story is a “lite” mafia romance where the FMC was given to the MMC by her father.

Protecting the sister: A condition of the arrangement is that the sister is to be protected.

The rehearsal dinner: During the wedding rehearsal, a gunfight breaks out. The MMC rushes to the sister’s side after the FMC is shot.
