Maggie is looking for this one! I’ve read a few like this where she raises the baby without him and he comes back and I love them, because they rip my heart out at first.

I’m looking for a romance contemporary book where the hero and heroine work together and somehow are also together (don’t remember if they are just sleeping or married) and the are in a hotel room packing to go somewhere for work and she tells the hero that she’s pregnant and wants to slow down in which case the hero ends up leaving (I don’t remember if he believes it’s his or simple leaves).

Fast forward the heroine has been living somewhere with her twin daughters (toddlers) and the hero has been looking for her for a couple years. The twins are still considered babies (less than 4 years?) he ends up going to her and meeting his daughters in which case the heroine makes him spend sometime without work (a month maybe?) to prove he wants them.

It’s a happy ever after.
