I can’t remember the name of this book, but I do remember I read this one online, like in a website.

The hero was firefighter and he was really like the perfect man, the perfect hero, so sweet and he loved our heroine so much, he totally adored her. They were “it” for each other.

But then our hero got into an accident and he had to be amputated or he will die, our hero doesn’t want to be amputated and he makes this clear to our heroine, or he will divorce her.

But then a decision had to be made and the mother of the hero who treated and loved our heroine as a daughter decided to leave all the responsibility of this big decision to our heroine and our heroine says yes to the surgery and just like the hero promised, he asked for a divorced, he was so angry at her, so resentful.

Our heroine is not the one to beg, I loved this about her. So she divorced him.

The thing is that the hero’s family also ghosted our heroine after years of treating her like a family because they felt like they had to pick a side.

The thing is our hero realized he had made a huge mistake and he had to grovel, and also his family.

Our heroine doesn’t fall back easily and she is really proud. She is sweet, but also serious. she doesn’t like games and doesn’t take sh*t from anyone.
