I am looking for a highlander romance i read sometime back.

Highlander hero travels with heroine after an arranged marriage from her castle to his. Journey takes a few days and while they do develop some rappport over the travel it’s not enough. They reach hero’s castle and hero’s mistress/ lehanne is there to welcome him.

I remember over the first dinner heroine feels isolated while mistress fawns all over the hero. And he also spends the first few nights with his mistress. But eventually he sleeps with the heroine. He is actually quite taken up with the heroine his wife but feels he should not develop feelings.

So to prove to himself he is not having feelings for the heroine he sleeps with his mistress the next night and heroine comes across this when she is looking for the hero. So of course she is hurt etc etc and the story then follows how he makes it up to her.

If anyone had any idea it would be great as I would love to read it again
